In May 2005, the company acquired V-One Corporation and expanded its expertise inU.S. public sector network security. AEP Networks is a privately held company backed by leading technology investors. The company is based in Somerset, N.J. with offices inRockville, M.D, and European headquarters in London.
In September 2011, Ultra Electronics Holdings acquired AEP Networks. AEP Networks' valuation and other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
